The Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund (HSNJRF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the relief and recovery of the victims of Hurricane Sandy. To date, the Fund has raised over $33.5 million from more than 28,000 donors world-wide. The Fund is focused primarily on long term recovery for the victims of the disaster, offering grants to support housing recovery, social services, education and mental health initiatives, financial and legal counseling, employment and small business support.
Confident in the capabilities to get their online grant making up and online quickly, HSNJRF selected CyberGrants as their partner to launch their grant program through. They have seen CyberGrants as a vital asset with our experienced and extensive support team and accelerated start-up process, allowing HSNJRF to focus on doing the good they are doing with their disaster relief efforts.
The CyberGrants team keeps growing, as we constantly strive towards providing the best service and support possible for our clients:
At Pfizer, they strive to adapt to the evolving needs of society and contribute to the overall health and wellness of the world by building partnerships with communities throughout the world to strengthen health systems, increase access to care, and find sustainable solutions to the health challenges of today and tomorrow.
“We were looking for a system that was both cost-effective and flexible to support our continually evolving process. CyberGrants configurability and ease of use met this need. We look forward to leveraging the CyberGrants system to simplify the grant submission experience for our requestors while enabling us to more efficiently serve them”
-- Amanda Fetterly Stein: Associate Director, Pfizer
We are happy to have Pfizer utilize the CyberGrants online grant management system to offer support for healthcare quality improvement initiatives, healthcare related charitable contributions, and medical education grants.
We are happy to announce the latest addition to the CyberGrants team:
In 2011 and 2012 the foundation established a new grant-making affiliation – One World Boston (OWB). Through this grant-making affiliation they award grants of $100,000 each to different organizations mostly based in Middlesex, Essex and Suffolk counties, in Massachusetts.
"Knowing Cybergrants is a well-established, stable company weighed heavily on our decision. We were impressed by the very professional-looking interface. The CyberGrants system offers a lot of flexibility, which we will likely need as our new grants program grows and evolves."
-- Joyce Vyriotes: Communications Director, Cummings Foundation
We are happy to have Cummings Foundation, Inc. utilize the CyberGrants online grant management system to manage its grant processing needs.

CyberGrants is in the midst of deploying the Community Development Revolving Loan Program, which supports low-income designated credit unions serving low-income communities with low-interest loans/deposits. This implementation is by no means a simple online grants process. However, our ever-flexible platform will deliver an elegant, convenient, and highly available system that will behave as if it were customized from the ground up, exclusively for NCUA.
Our first user conference is now behind us and we’re already starting to plan for next year! We got lucky with the weather (early April is a little iffy in the northeast) and our hosts at the Boston Harbor Hotel took great care of all of our guests.
Thanks to all of you who came to the event! For those of you who couldn’t make it, we hope to see you next year. Check the user forum for threads related to the conference and be sure to talk with your Account Coordinator to get a video recording of the sessions. We have been overwhelmed by the great feedback we have already received.
We have posted a gallery of photos from the User Conference! We appreciate all the feedback we have received, please keep it coming. Our team prepared extensively for the event and our users were truly appreciative of their efforts. Next year’s event will be even bigger and better. We don’t know how we could have even more fun, but we’ll try!
