Start-up Services

We Work Hard To Make Things Easy

Whether you need a simple implementation for a single user, or a global deployment of grants and employee giving for hundreds of thousands, the CyberGrants team will quarterback the entire process and make sure that your deadlines are hit with time to spare.

Implementation Timelines

While implementations vary from one client to the next, our typical timelines are as follows:

  • Simple implementations that do not require technical startup services can be completed in just a week or two
  • Most of our mid-sized implementations can be completed in 5 to 7 weeks
  • Timelines can be slightly longer than 7 weeks for larger rollouts that require a broad range of technical services, many users, many programs, localization of applications, or portals in multiple languages

Start-Up Activities

Here’s an overview of what to expect during the start-up phase.

Step 1: The Kick-Off Meeting

We initiate the start-up process with a Kick-off Meeting. This can be in the form of either a conference call or a face-to-face meeting, based on your preference. At this meeting, we will have already assembled the CyberGrants team, with your Account Coordinator at the helm. The Kick-off Meeting provides an opportunity to make team introductions, outline key milestones, and review the task groups for implementation.

Step 2: Discovery, Configuration and Technical Services Delivery

Immediately after the Kick-off Meeting, you will be asked to engage in information-sharing sessions with your CyberGrants implementation team. We will use this information to properly configure the system to fit your needs and also accomplish all technical task groups.

The configuration process will begin with a compilation of your business rules. We have several useful worksheets that will make it easy for you to fill in the blanks before sending the information to us for implementation. Of course, you’ll have full access to the configuration and administration components of our system, but most new clients prefer to leave this work to our technical experts. Post launch, the CyberGrants team will work with you to help you become increasingly self-sufficient, so you can confidently make setup modifications on your own.

Step 3: Training and Final Data Conversion

Once the configuration is in place and technical tasks are nailed down, we will provide you with customized training on your company-specific implementation. As soon as this training is complete, we will perform the final migration of your historical data so that you will be up and running on your new CyberGrants platform the following Monday morning.
