Karen and Sean Flanagan, our founders and board of directors, met at their first job after graduating from Smith College and Brown University respectively in 1988. Karen, a New Jersey native and salutatorian of her high school class, followed the obvious career path since college. A Dance and Political Economy double major, she is now the technological leader of a rapidly growing philanthropic software concern. Sean, former hockey captain at Phillips Andover Academy and varsity baseball, golf and hockey player at Brown now dedicates his career to understanding the needs of some of the world's largest foundations and insuring that our software remains the leader in online grantmaking. So much for his Economics degree!
