Description: 'Rental Usage' means that you are simply using the internet to access the CyberGrants database on a rental basis. Under this licensing approach, the physical database, the database server and your data are stored in a facility which is highly secure, highly available for fast web access. Description: 'Intranet Usage' means that you wish to install the CyberGrants system on your organization's own existing intranet. Under this approach, the physical database and your data are stored on one of your own servers within your own department, IT department or any other department in your company.

  • Delivery of all system upgrades and enhancements on-line
  • System availability monitoring
  • Maintenance of server operating system

  • Installation and testing of CyberGrants on the server you choose
  • Provide annual technical support
  • Delivery and remote installation of system upgrades
Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Initial Configuration (e.g. setting up your budget, identifying your funding principles, identifying your grant guidelines, ...)
  • Your strategic grantmaking

  • Coordination with your local LAN contact to enable the 'extranet' capabilities of the CyberGrants system (i.e. to allow the on-line application component to reside outside the firewall and the grants management component to reside inside the firewall.

System Administrator Requirements: NONE System Administrator Requirements: Someone to insure that the database is always up; someone to insure that the server is performing properly, someone to perform other system administration such as networking setup, daily backups and operating system tuning.
