Hawaiian Telcom Makes It Easy for You
We know that staying connected is important here in the Islands, and Hawaiian Telcom is committed to supporting you as you give your time
and resources to nonprofit organizations in our community.
Eligibility
All active Hawaiian Telcom employees are eligible to participate in the Hawaiian Telcom Ho’olaulima Program,
which consists of different giving and volunteer incentive programs. Under the Hawaiian Telcom Ho’olaulima Program,
an active employee must be a Hawaiian Telcom regular full-time or part-time employee who has been on the payroll for at least 90 days.
Giving Guidelines
In order for gifts to be matched, employees may donate to eligible nonprofit organizations in Hawaii
that are tax exempt as a 501(c)(3) under Internal Revenue Service laws as well as qualified educational institutions.
Hawaiian Telcom also encourages you to volunteer your time for nonprofit organizations that also meet this criterion
in order to qualify the organizations you give your time to for a cash grant.
Online Program for Your Convenience
The Hawaiian Telcom Ho’olaulima Program is entirely web-based so that you can have more flexibility and options
in selecting nonprofit organizations to support. You can simply log your volunteer hours and donations online or contact the call center.
The program allows 100 percent of your donations to go directly to the organization of your choice. All eligible donations are matched
at the end of each quarter.
