General Product Donations:

The scope of P&G's business elicits numerous appeals for product donations. Unfortunately, P&G is unable to take part in all of the opportunities brought to our attention. There is no fair way to select some groups without denying others that are equally deserving. Therefore, these donations are made through existing partnerships.

In the United States, we make product donations to Feeding America and their affiliates. You may want to visit their website and search their affiliate network to see if there is one near you. http://www.feedingamerica.org/

In other parts of the world, we work with local partners in our P&G communities to donate available product.

We also provide product in response to disasters, emergencies and humanitarian efforts. In these instances, we work with already identified partners.

Armed Forces:
P&G receives many requests to provide assistance to the armed forces; most of the requests come from the local service clubs, spouse support organizations, non-profits, etc. who have decided to do something to help the armed services in the field.

We work with our contacts in the national American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services Department who work directly with the U.S. Department of Defense. They are given regular briefings regarding troop needs as assessed by the Department of Defense. If needs are substantiated, P&G will respond through the American Red Cross directly to the Department of Defense.
