Participation in American Express Giving programs (i.e., Give2Gether, Serve2Gether, Gift Matching – as applicable) is voluntary. Your individual and personal contributions are strictly confidential and will not be shared with American Express - except when needed for servicing purposes (e.g., to investigate an issue with a request submitted, to assist with problems logging on to the web site, communicating with you regarding your participation in one of these programs), or as required by law.
Personally Identifiable Information (your name, home address, and donation amount) will be shared with charities for the purpose of issuing a confirmation of your tax-deductible contribution (as applicable). Wherever possible, you will be given the opportunity to choose whether you want this information shared or to remain anonymous.
