Walmart.org supports work directly related to our philanthropic strategies and geographic focus. For some programs, we invite proposals by directly contacting organizations for other programs we publish requests for proposals (RFPs), accept letters of inquiry (LOIs), or have an open application process.
Requirements vary, so it's important to review eligibility requirements and program guidelines before starting your application.
Concept Note
A Concept Note is accepted for the following programs: Access to Healthier Food. Nonprofit organizations must operate on a national scope through chapters / affiliates in many states around the country or through programs that operate regionally/locally but seek funding to replicate program activities nationally. Prior to submitting program ideas using the Concept Note format, please view the requirements and guidelines.

Community Grant Program
The Community Grant Program awards grants ranging from $250 to $5,000 000 through each of our facilities (Walmart Stores, Sam's Clubs, and Logistics Facilities). Eligible nonprofit organizations must operate on the local level (or be an affiliate/chapter of a larger organization that operates locally) and directly benefit the service area of the facility from which they are requesting funding. Northwest Arkansas Giving Program
The Northwest Arkansas Giving Program awards grants to enhance the quality of life for all members of the community. Nonprofit organizations must operate in Benton or Washington Counties of Northwest Arkansas. Prior to submitting an application, please view the requirements and guidelines.
